i was hired by young businessman to shots these
car...he want something that can bring the envyness

8th oct 08..alone all day..
super boring day of the week..
cant go drifting due to ruined tierod ends,
cant go cycling due to damaged rim & fork,
cant go loitering coz everyone starts workin,
cant go anywhere and cant do anything at all...
later in the evening,
was having a conversation with pirer
about cameras & stuffs, and out of nowhere
he came out with this cute mean looking cat...

MIFC 08 Finale Display - Team Australia
|
|
Howards & Sons Pyrotechnics among the world leader in
fireworks & pyrotecnics industries. They are responsible
for some of the worlds most spectacular fireworks display.
They've won last year's MIFC 07, and for this year,
the MIFC event producer has invited them to display
Grand Finale of MIFC 08.
consisting of 3, Stuart, Rusty & Justin, i may now
present Team Australia..... 
on the other side
- Stuart is also the Technical Director for MIFC 08..
- Team Australia is using a little bit less than 4000 shells 
- they're using 120 firework modules (they requested 170modules, not enough... )
- for the last 50seconds display, almost 1000 shells was launched
- they're also responsible for the display during the launching of Eye On Malaysia at titiwangsa lake..
IMHO, after been watching all the fireworks display by all teams,
it's obvious Team Australia is really2 good and...no wonder
they've won last year and appointed as the team responsible for the commonwealth 2006
opening and closing ceremonies...

MIFC 08 - Team Spain

as promised,
my next entry is Team Spain....
as usual, 4 members for each team;
Patrick, Katherine, Edward & Philip...
While displaying their show,
Phil & Ed looks very upset n frustated, coz during
event day (24th August 08), it's raining
for 1 whole day.. during daytime, they setup
in rain, & when the nights come,
their show is displayed with a rain shower...
pity them...
but hey, They on the 1st place anyway,
followed by Team Malaysia as runner up..

Salamz to all viewers....here's some shots for canadian team ...
they're nice person to talk to...
for this time, i hv to remove smoke from the fireworks pictures
coz the wind is blowing the smoke towards PICC...
cant do much on that...anyway, enjoy....
storage area...full with explosive goods...
during 1st day at storage area...squib process...
a day before event....Media visit to the fireworks site..

the fireworks...had to remove the smoke this time...
between these two, same image,but look at the difference..
original image is damn smoky...
the aftermath...shell that didnt go well,burning the mortars...

Malaysian International Fireworks Competition 2008

Alhamdulillah,rezeki dari-Nya...
this is my project for this month....
appointed as organizer's official photographer
for this huge events....
and im here for whole month,to cover the
meetings,setups,events,clearing n many more...
man, im super tanned now....
anyway,let the pix do the talk..

things happen....

Salamz.....
here's a set of from my lenses...taken last 2 weeks
at Bukit Jalil shortly after KBS drift sessions ends..
behind the scene,im not feeling well while shooting at these,
caused by not enough rest...yeap...been pushing my body
too hard...was cycling for 30km on my MTB on that mornin
with only a 2 & a half hour sleeps..
and just to add a drama to it, my wrist cracked, cause
by excessive rides..last time it crack was 10 years back..
so i had to get my wrist scanned & a splint to hold it...
and just to get things more and more interesting,
i was affected by dengue..AGAIN...!
now. a fractured wrist + dengue...isnt it wonderfull????
btw im recovering now...it's getting better day by day,,
need to gain some weight though...
on the other side..
nothing much on august...
just that i've been appointed as official photographer
for Malaysian International Fireworks Competition 2008..
end of this week is TOYO MALAYSIAN SERIES Round 2 (9th &10th Aug)..

nearest wedding is on 10th august...
looks like i'll be a bz man this month...

called "professional drift session" held by prince of drift himself;

he's too bz drifting,racing & working and had no time to
